Pastor's Corner

What is there to be excited about? We had 7 decisions for Christ in March! And though 3 of those people didn't have Bibles, the church just purchased them! So we gave a Bible to each one!

Also, Palm Sunday and Easter are coming the 2nd and 3rd Sundays in April. Get motivated that when Jesus rode into Jerusalem, He was called the King of the people, and when He rose from the dead, He proclaimed victory over death! That's the big celebration we have ahead of us.

The smaller celebration is a new seminar I am offering the 4th Sunday after church. It is called, 'Leaving Your Burden with God.' God has been speaking to me every week for a month about new ways to cast our cares on Him. It will be worth coming for, as I feel God's Spirit every time I think about it. I am actually more pumped about this than Easter Sunday, which is going some.

On Easter, April 20th, we will have 2 services, 8:30am and 10am. In between at 9:30am we will have brunch on the front porch.

 Have a blessed day!

The Bible says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
The opposite of anxiety is prayer with thanksgiving. These two things, when working together, can bring peace in the midst of difficulty. And that peace cannot be fully understood. It is beyond human understanding, but you know you have it. Why not choose prayer with thanks to God this month? It will give you more of God’s peace.
Our Thanksgiving Eve service will be Wednesday, November 27th. We will meet at 6:30pm and have a time of testimonies about what we are thankful for!

Welcome to Friendship Community Church of Ahwatukee

Life is relationships ...with family, with friends, with co-workers. When your relationships are good, life is rich. When they are strained, life can be painful.

The most important thing you and I can do is to build loving relationships with God and each other. But many of us feel a void in this area when our lives pull us in so many other directions.

There is help.

Friendship Community Church exists to help you build the loving relationships that make life meaningful and complete. Here the bonds of friendship overcome the differences that keep us apart. People from diverse backgrounds who come into a friendship with Jesus Christ support each other in learning to live a new kind of life. A love-focused life. You'll find the excitement of love-focused relationships in the youth groups, the children's ministry, and many adult small groups and activities. You'll find all ages, singles, couples, and seniors becoming family to one another, caring for each other's needs.

So what do you say?

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we want to be friends with you as you take the next step. Come home to an accepting family where you can get involved at a pace that is comfortable to you. We've been praying for you already and can't wait to meet you.

Life is Relationships.
